Toute la semaine a été très agréable, avec un petit groupe formidable. Nous nous sommes tous très bien entendus, et je me sens honorée d’avoir fait partie de ce groupe.
Le moment fort pour moi a été l’après-midi et la soirée passées avec les amis français, après avoir fait les courses au marché, puis cuisiné et partagé le repas ensemble. C’était l’occasion parfaite de découvrir le mode de vie des Français et de ressentir l’importance et la convivialité de l’amitié autour d’un repas typiquement provençal.
Un autre grand moment a été la randonnée avec le groupe, le pique-nique et la rencontre avec ma correspondante. De merveilleux souvenirs ! Le fait de rencontrer de nombreux habitants a été un superbe bonus, permettant une immersion encore plus profonde dans la communauté.
J’ai adoré toutes les missions qui nous ont été proposées, et les activités de la semaine étaient variées et vraiment plaisantes.
L’hébergement était excellent et très central, avec un petit-déjeuner parfait pour bien commencer la journée.
Je serais très intéressée par une autre semaine d’immersion et je mesure pleinement les avantages de ce type de séjour pour progresser en langue. Je considérerais même un séjour de deux semaines, surtout s’il combine découvertes culturelles et cours de français plus formels.
Je suis impatiente de poursuivre mon apprentissage du français et d’atteindre un niveau supérieur.

The whole week was so enjoyable with a great small group of people. We all got on so well and I feel honoured to have been part of this group.
The highlight for me was the afternoon/ evening with the french friends after we bought groceries at the market and then enjoying cooking and eating together. The perfect opportunity to see how local french people live and the importance and sense of friendship while feasting together on typical Provencal food.
Another highlight was the hiking with the group and picnic and the chance to meet and chat with my Correspondent. Great memories !!! Meeting a lot of locals was a beautiful bonus to really immerse ourselves in the community.
I loved all the tasks that we were given and the week’s activities were varied and truly enjoyable.
The accomodation was great and very central , with an excellent breakfast to start the day.
I would be very interested in another immersion week and appreciate the advantage of immersion to further learn the language. I would even consider 2 weeks especially if combined with tours and formal language sessions.
Looking forward to continuing my language journey and reaching a higher level

Aix en Provence is a beautiful city and a perfect ‘base’ for visiting so many interesting places, not too far away.
Everyday was different which I loved and I enjoyed the diversity of all the activities. There wasn’t one activity or focus that I didn’t like and I engaged with all the activities with equal interest.
How did you find the real-life missions? A bit intimidating at times but a good thing to do to push us out of our comfort zones!
